1/23/2012 Video of Weholite culvert installation

Weholite pipe is ideal for culvert applications, whether installed traditionally or spliplined. The city of St John's, NL, required a long lasting product that could be installed with minimum road closure time. Wolseley Engineered Pipe Group chose 72" ID Weholite to replace deteriorated twin 67" arch steel plate culverts.

10/3/2011 New phone and fax numbers for KWH Pipe in Finland

As of 1st October, KWH Pipe has taken a new telephone and communications system into use for the head office and for KWH Pipe Finland, KWH Pipe Technology and KWH Thermopipe.

The new numbers can be found on the Contacts page. The old phone numbers will continue to be active for the time being.

10/29/2010 KWH Pipe divests part of the Swedish operations

Wavin and KWH Pipe have signed an agreement where Wavin Sweden (Aktiebolaget Svenska Wavin) acquires the PE Division of KWH Pipe Sweden (KWH Pipe Sverige AB). The transaction includes KWH Pipe's factory in Borås, Sweden and the employees of the product area PE pipes and fittings. The acquisition is effective as of December 1st, 2010. KWH Pipe will continue in Sweden with its District Energy, Weholite and Environmental (WehoPuts) businesses.

8/30/2010 DIN CERTCO approval for PEX pipes

KWH Pipe's PEX pipes for floor heating and radiator systems have been granted the German DIN CERTCO approval, which is known and trusted throughout the world. In addition, KWH Pipe has already prior to this received the Nordic Poly Mark / Insta-Cert approval for hot and cold water installations. Own brand PEX products are mainly sold in Finland and include WehoFloor (floor heating system), WehoRadi (radiator applications), WehoSani (tap water) and WehoMelt (snow melting system for walkways etc).

6/2/2010 CE marking for WehoPuts mini wastewater treatment plants

WehoPuts mini wastewater treatment plants have received the CE mark, a conformity mark within the EEA, according to EN 12566-3. The CE marking certifies that the mini wastewater treatment plants meet environmental requirements within the EU.

4/22/2009 New franchisee

KWH Pipe Technology will deliver full turn-key plastic pipe factory lines to the Tripoli area in Libya. This will be the first full scale plastic pipe factory in the country. The investment is in line with local investment policies aiming to emphasise industrial investment that supports local economical growth.

The delivery includes solid wall production lines up to 1200 mm in diameter for pressure pipes and up to 2200 mm for Weholite pipes as well as a full set of machinery to produce segmented fitting for the pipes, factory auxiliary systems (plant cooling system, waste material recycling systems, etc.) and know-how. The franchisee will also have access to the KWH Pipe brand.
