KWH can produce long-length pipes for different applications. The production of long-length pipes reduces cost and timespan of projects.

In 2005, Project Services set up a line that supplies pipes more than 500 metres long for flotation to the point of installation. The unit, which has been established at the port of Wallhamn, north of Gothenburg, Sweden, can deliver a pipe of 1,600 mm directly for installation at sea. Deliveries can be sent to the Baltic region, and along the west coast of Europe as far as the entire Mediterranean region and on to North Africa.

Projects have been carried out both in the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea. The very first delivery from the new production line was 3,000 metres of WehoPipe pressure pipes with a diameter of 1,600 mm. The pipes were delivered for a wastewater discharge line to the city of Santander in the north of Spain in July and August 2005.
