KWH Pipe maintains a complete quality control from raw material to finished pipe product by establishing strict manufacturing specifications and by verifying them daily, for example using precise dimensional controls and accelerated long term hydrostatic testing on samples taken from production run.

KWH Pipe factories' quality systems are certified according to ISO 9001.

All KWH Pipe factories have quality departments and testing laboratories for the daily routine testing ensuring an equally high quality standard. At the head office in Vaasa, Finland, KWH Pipe has a central laboratory for research, product development and qualified assistance to all KWH Pipe's subsidiaries and licensees.

All PE pipe production in KWH Pipe's factories is done in accordance with defined product standards and the KWH Pipe's internal quality control system is also supervised by independent external test institutes like DTI, SP, VTT etc. For specific project deliveries such as long length supplies or on-site production, specific quality plans are elaborated.
